Reservation & Allocation Supervisor

We are looking for a Reservations Supervisor to maintain all elements of the reservations system to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator who can stay positive when facing difficult situations. You should also be reliable and customer-oriented, as you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Review arrival lists to welcome staff
- Provide information about amenities, area and venues and promote services
- Anticipate staff needs and build rapport with customers
- Offer assistance with certain tasks (e.g. confirming travel arrangements, taking messages)
- Ensure that all staff are handled in an efficient and timely manner.
- Demonstrate knowledge of accommodations, guests and staff services.
- Maintain accurate room rate control and availability statuses by controlling and advising of restrictions and room availability
- Continually monitors all pertinent travel related websites and OTA’s to ensure competitiveness in both availability and price; communicates information to supervisor as needed.
- Verifies that all reservations are input correctly into the system.
- Communicates/coordinates property maintenance requests.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Ability to use all booking management systems to the fullest extent to retrieve necessary information online.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or BSc/BA in Hospitality Management is preferred
- 5-10 years related experience and/or training preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, accommodations portfolio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong telephone and computer etiquette
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrates a calm and professional manner at all times with the ability to multi-task and remain organized.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards
- Proficiency in English and Arabic; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- A customer-oriented and professional attitude and an outgoing personality
