Who You Are

As a Senior Product Designer at WakeCap Technologies, you embody creativity, attention to detail, and a user-centric approach to design. You are adept at leading the end-to-end design process, ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed user expectations. Your experience in user research, usability testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams has honed your ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and visually appealing designs. You are proactive in staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously enhancing our design processes and outputs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless and user-centric experience for our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing designs.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and enhance the overall user experience.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and emerging technologies to continually improve and evolve our design processes.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all customer touchpoints.
- Conduct competitor analysis and stay informed about industry trends to inform design decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization, ensuring a strong focus on the end-user's needs and preferences.
- Work closely with developers during the implementation phase, providing guidance and clarifications to ensure the fidelity of the design is maintained.
- Utilize proven experience in working on both LTR (Left-to-Right) and RTL (Right-to-Left) systems for mobile apps and web apps.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects and a deep understanding of design principles.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Experience with design systems and contributing to the development and maintenance of a cohesive design language.
