**Job Description - Quality Manager**

**Industry**: Carton & Packaging Factory
**Location**: Saudi Arabia

**Position Summary**:
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the factory’s quality management system to ensure that carton and packaging products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. He leads the quality team in driving continuous improvement, reducing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Management System (QMS)**:

- Establish, implement, and maintain ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSC, etc.) relevant to carton and packaging.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- **Inspection & Testing**:

- Supervise incoming raw material inspection (paper reels, inks, adhesives).
- Oversee in-process and final product inspections for corrugated boards, cartons, and packaging materials.
- Implement quality checks for printing accuracy, die-cutting, gluing, and finishing.
- **Process Control & Improvement**:

- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
- Monitor KPIs such as defect rates, customer complaints, and production rejections.
- **Customer Focus**:

- Handle customer audits, product approvals, and complaint investigations.
- Work closely with sales and production to ensure product quality meets client expectations.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Lead, train, and develop the quality assurance and quality control team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness across all departments.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Present monthly quality performance reports to senior management.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering.
- **7-10 years of experience** in quality management, preferably in **carton/corrugated packaging or printing industry**.
- Strong knowledge of corrugators, printers, die-cutters, and finishing processes.
- Experience with **ISO standards, Lean, Six Sigma, or TQM**.
