QC Supervisor Welding

1. Reporting to PQM and responsible for supervision of all welding inspection activities at project site.

2. Preparation and submission of Welding Quality documents ITP, Method of Statement, Procedure in line with Project specifications and standards.
3. Coordinate the resources and liaise with construction management and supervise to ensure adequate Ensure the Inspection coverage of all welding ongoing construction & completion of inspection activities.
4. Assigning of adequate qualified - discipline QA/QC Inspectors for Site Inspection.
5. Responsible for checking verifying, reviewing the construction IFC drawings.
6.Check the bevel preparation - root gap, bevel angle, root face & joint cleanliness
7.Verification of approval of procedure, welder, consumables & calibration certification
8.Identify the Non-confirming activity during the project execution and raise the Internal NCR,s and ensure its proper closure in time.
9. Find out Root cause for the non - conformances and implement and monitor necessary corrective actions effectively.
10. Identify and prepare Preventive actions reports and Proactive Notifications.
11. Responsible for Punch point and Hold point clearance
12. Support the project management for ensuring the quality implementation and timely delivery of projects
13. Maintain the high Project Quality Performance Index (PQI) for the projects & ensure Trainings as per schedule.
14.Knowledge on code & specification requirement - ASME B31.3 /B31.4/ B31.8, ASME IX, ASME IIA/B/C & API 1104.
15.Raise RFI to client as per ITP requirement & co-ordinate for inspection.
16.Perform surveillance inspection and raise NCR if any non conformity observed.
17.Potential issues are to identified and take corrective action immediately.

Previous Saudi Aramco experience as QC Welding Supervisor

BE / B Tech -Mechanical with 7 Years of work experience in Inspection OR
Diploma
- Mechanical with 12 years of work experience in Inspection
(3 years of work experience in Supervision)

Lead Auditor - QMS ISO 9001: 2015
CSWIP 3.1 / AWS
