Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Innovation Associate Engineer (Saudi National)**to join our team This role is a digital savvy regional role which requires a dynamic yet structured individual, capable of working on multitude of complex and interdisciplinary projects. The role requires skills in project management, strategic thinking, graphic and verbal communication skills, business acumen and the ability to work independently and collectively to achieve individual innovation tasks and goals. Reporting directly to the Innovation Director, the core functions will be to scout, collect, organize and drive forward innovation activities.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Promote and strengthen Parsons Innovation Culture
- Prepare and provide support related to Innovation & Tech weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
- Participate and support Business Development activities with regards to Innovation & Technology.
- Implementing - Identifying and connecting innovations with our BD teams.
- Ensuring that innovation ideas expressed on proposals is in-line with Parsons strategic vision and the goals of the individual project
- Prepare Innovation Frameworks, Execution Plans & Case Studies related to Innovation & Technology Pilots
- Support Innovation Capturing / Cataloguing - Innovations from MEA teams
- Developing - Taking ideas from a seedling and developing by engaging internal & external SME’s
- Vetting/Reviewing - Ensuring that Innovations in their infancy are sufficiently developed prior to presenting to the Innovation Core team / Sr. Management.
- Facilitate multi-staged review process with core team / Sr. Management
- Presenting - Creating reports/presentation which present the innovation idea.
- Educating / Learning - Identifying learning opportunities for our current (and loyal) staff to expand their skill sets.
- Promote Innovation Activities internal to Parsons and to regional customers
- Promote innovation within the MEA region via internal social media platforms.
- Working with Parsons marketing to promote and highlight Parsons Innovations & Technology in Social Media, articles, presentations etc.
- External Outreach - Identifying and engaging with innovative people, groups, clients, departments within authorities, startups, incubators to be part of the conversation. Listening to their interests.
- Aligning and informing them of our strategic goals and ability to provide innovative solutions
- Track emerging trends. Understand how they relate to Parsons’ core business and offerings

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering and/or Architecture
- Business Degree or Certification is a bonus
- 0 to 2 years experience in technology or innovations role
- Exposure to innovations related implementations or demonstrable knowledge of the latest industry trends and innovations would be an added advantage

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Creativity and strategic thinking would be required
- Proven ability to work as part of a team or to lead an activity independently through to conclusion
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Excellent ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations and can work in MS Office
- Be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized in different industries
