**Job Summary**:

- Implementing data privacy regulations such as **PDPL**, **GDPR**, or **HIPAA**.
- Collaborating with healthcare stakeholders (e.g., clinicians, IT, and legal teams) to align privacy practices with operational needs.
- Conducting **privacy gap assessments** and **risk analyses**.
- Drafting and maintaining **data protection policies and procedures**.
- Preparing for audits and liaising with **regulatory authorities**.
- Handling personal data within healthcare settings in accordance with local and global regulations.
- Implementing **data security measures** (e.g., encryption, access controls, breach detection).
- Managing data breaches and ensuring compliance with **breach notification** requirements under PDPL.
- Conducting **Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)** for high-risk processing activities.
- Developing and maintaining **Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)**.
- Assessing and managing **third-party/vendor risks** related to healthcare data processing.
- Ensuring **Electronic Health Record (EHR)** systems meet privacy and security requirements.
- Staying updated on **Saudi healthcare regulations** issued by the **Ministry of Health** or the **Saudi Health Council**.
- Navigating privacy and security challenges in **healthcare IT systems**.
- Demonstrating experience in **regulated sectors** managing **sensitive personal data**, especially within healthcare.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum **10 years** of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the healthcare or regulated sectors.
- **Educational Background**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in**:Information Security** or **Computer Science / IT.**
- **Certifications**:

- **Data Protection & Privacy Certifications**:
1. **CIPM** - Certified Information Privacy Manager (IAPP)
- **CDPO** - Certified Data Protection Officer
- **CIPP/M** or **CIPP/E** - Certified Information Privacy Professional (with focus on the Middle East)
- **CIPT** - Certified Information Privacy Technologist
- **CHPS** - Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (AHIMA)
- **HCISPP** - HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner
- **Information Security / Risk Management Certifications**:
1. **ISO 27001 Lead Implementer**
- **CRISC** - Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
- **CISM** - Certified Information Security Manager
- **CISA** - Certified Information Systems Auditor
- **CISSP** - Certified Information Systems Security Professional
