- **Changing filters**: Replacing air, fuel, and oil filters regularly to maintain engine efficiency.
- **Inspecting brakes**: Ensuring brake performance and replacing pads or rotors when necessary.
- **Inspecting tires**: Checking tire pressure, wear, and wheel balance.

Diagnosing and Repairing Faults:

- **Listening to customer complaints**: Understanding the specific issue the vehicle owner is experiencing.
- **Inspecting the vehicle**: Using diagnostic tools to identify faults.
- **Identifying damaged parts**: Determining which components need replacement.
- **Repairing the fault**: Performing the necessary repairs according to correct procedures.

Other Duties:

- **Installing accessories**: Installing additional vehicle accessories such as sound systems or alarms.
- **Tuning engines**: Modifying engines to increase power or efficiency (in some cases).
- **Servicing air conditioning systems**: Inspecting and servicing vehicle air conditioning systems.
- **Providing customer advice**: Offering guidance on vehicle care and maintenance.
