**Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Contract Manager to join our team In this role, you will be responsible for managing all contract activities for a Division, a major market segment, or for a major project, with potential travel to client offices or project sites.**

What You'll Be Doing:

- Participating in strategic planning activities for specific projects (e.g., risk assessments, bid/no-bid analysis, and business plan development).
- Providing technical guidance to assigned personnel and ensuring contract administration proficiency and timeliness.
- Making staffing decisions, recruiting, interviewing, evaluating employees, and ensuring proper orientation in company policies.
- Collaborating with Division and project management to support proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and administration.
- Reviewing requests for proposals to identify potential risks and non-conformance to company policy.
- Negotiating complex and sensitive issues with clients and representing the company in relevant government or industry hearings.
- Staying involved in professional societies to remain informed on relevant contractual issues.
- Performing other duties as required in support of contract activities.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Typically 12+ years of prime contract administration experience within a large international engineering and construction firm.
- A comprehensive understanding of industry business practices and contract negotiations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven management ability, including the oversight of contract administrators and administrative support staff.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

- Experience with government procurement policy and initiatives.
- Familiarity with PC software packages commonly used in contract administration.
- Active involvement in industry-related professional societies.
