**Wathiq is looking for an The Investor Relations Officer (IRO) for one of our reputed clients in KSA.**

**Job Overview**:
**The Investor Relations Officer (IRO) will be responsible for managing and strengthening the communication between the company and its investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders in the financial community. This role involves communicating financial performance, strategy, and market outlook to investors, as well as consistently aligned with its long-term growth strategy and corporate goals. The IRO will also support the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, trust, and shareholder value.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Strategic communication planning: Develop and implement an IR communication strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives. Ensure the communication strategy addresses both ongoing disclosure requirements and special situations (e.g., earnings releases, mergers and acquisitions).
- Regulatory compliance: Ensure all investor communications comply with the CMA regulations and other relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure readiness of regulatory filings and public disclosures, including annual and quarterly reports, press releases, and investor presentations.
- Shareholder engagement: Maintain regular communication with shareholders, ensuring timely dissemination of material information. Organize and manage investor meetings, including the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Extraordinary General Meetings (EGM). Address shareholder queries and concerns promptly and transparently.
- Financial reporting and disclosures: Preparation and dissemination of financial results, ensuring accuracy and clarity. For Internal Use Only - Develop key messages and talking points for earnings calls, investor presentations, and other financial communications. - Monitor market and analyst reactions to financial disclosures and adjust communication strategies as needed.
- Crisis communication: Develop and implement a crisis communication plan to manage information flow during crises (e.g., financial distress, major incidents). Ensure prompt and transparent communication to mitigate reputational risk and maintain investor confidence.
- Investor feedback and market intelligence: Gather and analyze feedback from investors and analysts to inform the company’s communication strategy and business decisions. Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive landscape to anticipate and address investor concerns.
- Documentation and record-keeping: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all investor communications and meetings. Ensure documentation of all regulatory filings and disclosures.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- **Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (CA, ACCA or similar qualifications or pursuing a professional qualification).**:

- **Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in investor relations, finance, or corporate communications, ideally in the IT sector or technology-driven businesses.
