Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
o Support the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
o Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
o Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and business cases.
o Provide resource and talent management insights like utilization and productivity reports
- Business Partnering:
o Act as a trusted advisor to business unit leaders, providing financial guidance and supporting key decision-making.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and growth, Product, and Delivery, to optimize financial outcomes.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to SaaS and professional services, driving improvements and accountability.
- Revenue Management:
o Oversee revenue planning and recognition for SaaS and professional services in compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 15).
o Support pricing strategies and protect project margins
o Manage the financial aspects of customer contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance:
o Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly management accounts and variance analysis
o Ensure alignment between external financial reporting and management reporting
o Maintain robust internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
o Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Strategic Initiatives:
o Contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives, including market expansion, product launches, and M&A activities.
o Lead financial due diligence and integration efforts for acquisitions.
o Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications:
- Education & Certification:
o Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
o Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- **Experience**:
o Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner or similar role in a tech company, with a focus on professional services and SaaS.
o Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue recognition, and financial modeling.
o Experience in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.**Skills**: o Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
o Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
o Strong business acumen, with the ability to think strategically and act tactically.
o Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
