To deliver HR Services and first level HR support to employees, managers, and the HR community.
HR Services Specialists serve as the initial point of contact for our employees, interacting with them on a daily basis assisting with a multitude of general HR needs and helping with a standard set of HR service offerings. This position also supports the broader HR community and leaders with transactional and administrative activities. This position requires a professional demeanor, exceptional customer service, a sense of urgency; the ability to organize and prioritize.
The team is currently undergoing significant transformation to move, streamline, simplify, and automate a variety of services and processes to ensure a consistent employee experience.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Working with the team lead on a successful alignment and various process improvement projects
- Responding to general HR employee questions and providing policy and procedure guidance
- Accountable for all in country employment changes, notifications, contractual changes, translations
- Be accountable and provide ownership for key projects relating to all HRS activities and systems
- Suggest and implement process improvements that will contribute to more efficient working practices - be a Subject Matter expert for all operational aspects HR processes
- Be a source of expert advice on Workday, case management, ticketing the HR Portal and all associated tools
- Training current team on new processes to ensure we have backup team members
- Manage all in country compliance tools and systems - example QIWA, accountable to ensure all actions are completed, on time and accurate and that the % remains at 100%
- Will provide back up support for other countries in the region during vacation and other team members absence.
- Serving as an employee advocate to identify resources for resolution of issues and concerns.
- Monitoring, managing, and tracking employee absence due to illness/leave of absence in line with company policies and procedures
- Work with the HR Services team lead to provide guidance and expertise to the delivery of HR-related services.
- Managing projects and process improvements within the team including developing solutions and defining deliverables, required schedules, necessary tasks, and providing status updates
- Creating reports and metrics, analyzing and interpreting data from a variety of systems and sources to support compliance, and HR data trending
- Liaise effectively with all areas of the HR function - be a key bridge of effective interaction and connectivity
- Perform transactions using HR technologies (e.g., Workday, case management, SharePoints)
- Audit supplier compliance to performance standards and report out on status.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:
- 3+ years’ recent experience using QIWA government platform
- 3+ years’ experience using government portals to record HR and payroll specific data
- 3+ years’ experience managing internal and external stakeholders and vendors
- Arabic & English Language - fluent
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**:
- HR service delivery 3 years plus
- Project management
- Experience using workday and Service Now
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple concurrent activities
- Flexible and ability to work under pressure to meet the project needs/deadlines
**Typical Education/Experience**:
3 years work experience within HR Administration, experience using QIWA + GOSI and other in country compliance and government portals.
