JASARA PMC is looking for a talented and knowledgeable **Logistics and Transportation Specialist.** Inthis critical role, you will be responsible for managing logistics and transportation activities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of materials and equipment for our various infrastructure projects.

As a **Logistics and Transportation Specialist,** you will analyze transportation systems, implement best practices, and oversee all logistics processes, including inventory management, procurement, and distribution. You will work closely with project teams and external vendors to ensure that all transportation needs are met while optimizing cost efficiency and supply chain effectiveness.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and optimize logistics and transportation strategies for project requirements.
- Manage the transportation of materials and equipment to job sites in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop logistics plans that align with project schedules and milestones.
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to recommend improvements and implement best practices.
- Work closely with suppliers and contractors to ensure quality service delivery.
- Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation and logistics operations.
- Maintain compliance with applicable laws and company policies related to transportation and logistics.
- Prepare and present logistics reports and updates to project management and stakeholders.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in logistics and transportation management, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and transportation regulations.
- Experience in managing logistics operations and optimizing transportation routes.
- Proficient in logistics management software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work with data effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local transportation networks and supply chain practices in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and environments.
