Summary

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Elementary School Arabic Teacher, who will be a key member of the department and will be responsible for delivering the study of Saudi Arabian history, Islamic culture as well as the Arabic language.

Position Duties
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the goals and objectives of a clearly defined and documented curriculum.
- Inspire students to learn more about the rich history and culture present in Saudi Arabia.
- Create an environment where students passionately exercise agency in their learning.
- Contribute to the creation and revision of the Arabic program.
- Share interests and passions with students through the after-school program.
- Deliver an active, hands-on and student-centered program to promote learning.
- Maintain a safe learning environment for students at all times.
- Observe, monitor and record student progress.
- Respond appropriately to the range of individual needs and abilities within the class.
- Collaborate with colleagues.

Qualifications and Knowledge
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study.
- University degree in Arabic Language.

Experience and Skills

Experience
- Prior experience as an elementary school Arabic teacher.
- Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Deliver a program according to the precepts of the Common Core Standards, but within an international context.

**Skills**:

- Excellent command of both Arabic and English, verbal and written.
