Job Description
- Drilling Supervisor
- Fugro is looking for Drilling Supervisors to join our world-leading Marine Infrastructure Solutions department based in Saudi, reporting to the Senior Management.
- Working on Land Projects in Saudi, you will be a vital member of the Site Leadership and Management Team and will oversee the safe and efficient execution of project operations in line with all Company and Site policies.
- You will be responsible for the selection, certification and maintenance of all equipment and will assign tasks to the trained personnel on-site leading by example as well as mentoring and developing the team.
- Health and Safety is a key focus of this role so you will also assist the Project Manager & Project Supervisor(s) to ensure that Health & Safety standards set by Fugro and our clients on projects are adhered to.

Who you’ll be working with:
- You will work closely with the Project Team, Manager and Site Operatives to assist with the Project Execution Plan and ensure that all operational activities are undertaken safely and compliant with relevant policies and procedures.
- Externally you will liaise with engineers and client reps
Here’s what a typical day would be like:
- You will ensure all equipment is in a safe and maintained position.
- Ensure drill rig audits are in place and complete any required actions
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports as detailed in the project requirements
- Support the professional development, training and discipline of the field crew, identifying and managing any training needs
- Liaise with the technical team when necessary
Who we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in Geotechnical Drilling Operations
- Demonstrable experience in a supervisory role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office
