Description

**JOB SUMMARY**:
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Accounting**
- Maintain the country or area statutory books on the ORACLE system.
- Review monthly financial statements, ensure balance sheet accounts are analyzed and review sub ledger reconciliation.
- Review variance analyses and prepare MD&A (Management Discussion and Analysis).
- Responsible for Local Compliance in the area
- Assist Finance & Administration Manager in treasury function.
- Train and Supervise accounting staff.
- Maintain local files as per tax legislation.
- Assist Finance & Administration Manager in Internal and External audit compliance.
- Liaise with customer for invoicing & collection
- **Other Area Responsibilities**
- Prepare & Review Balance Sheet Reconciliation
- Monitor cash transfer requests and foreign currency exposure
- Ensure that capital expenditures are properly authorized and coded
- Update and monitor monthly cash flow analyses
- Assist Finance & Administration Manager in Tax reporting to the local authorities
- Assist Finance & Administration Manager in preparation of annual budget and annual forecast
- Assist and participate in special projects on a regular basis
- **Other**
- Where necessary extended working hour is required during month end closing, forecasting & budgeting, reporting deadline and any other scenarios that would require additional working.
- Assist other Department when required especially in areas that will have a monetary & financial impact to the Financial

Qualifications

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- University degree, preferable in business/accounting
- Fluency in English

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 5 years or more
- ORACLE & Hyperion experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in drilling/oilfield service industry preferred
