**Role Summary**:
Project Specialist, Chartering Operations is responsible for managing and optimizing the operations of vessels and other transportation assets for a NEOM DSV JV. You will collaborate with vendors, internal & external stake holders, to ensure goods are planned and transported in line with country and NEOM regulations.**Responsibilities**:

- Vessel Operations: Ensure the optimal use of vessels or other assets to meet the company's transportation needs.
- Charter Negotiations: Negotiate charter agreements with service providers, including terms, rates, and conditions.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, freight rates, and vessel availability to make informed recommendations.
- Contract Management: Ensure compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Operational Coordination: Coordinate with operations, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of charter agreements.
- Risk Management: Mitigate risks associated with charters, including legal, financial, and operational risks.
- Customer Relations: Maintain and develop relationships with clients, owners, and other stakeholders.
- Reporting: Prepare reports related to chartering activities.
- HSE & Risk Management Plans, ensure they remain visible, and are being adhered to.
- Ensure all owned, chartered or rented equipment meets or exceeds both regulatory and NEOM Standards.
- Ensure that operations work within the KSA Regulatory and NEOM Framework.
- Manage assets and available business in such a way as to minimize operational expenses while maximizing equipment utilization and driving profitability.**Educational Qualifications & Certifications**:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the shipping industry, Spot market, COA, and Operations.
- Analytical skills and the ability to interpret market data.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to manage complex situations.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain management.**Competencies**
