Logistics Lead

The Logistics Leader oversees delivery of the order/consignment to customer/LBP’s on-time by fulfilling all purchase order requirements, aligned with compliance and International trade regulations. They should manage the team and work towards achieving monthly/Yearly POR target set by the Plant Manager in terms of shipments. The Logistics Leader must master all processes related to International trade regulations, Incoterms and related country specific certificates needed for customs clearance at destination. They are responsible for their own safety, therefore must respect EHS regulations, and ensure adherence to all Emerson trade compliance rules.

The Logistics Leader oversees activities of Packing, Shipping, Dispatch and warehouse personnel. You shall plan and maintain shipping / delivery schedules, on-board new hires, and set team goals based on company expectations. You also shall evaluate employee performance to ensure, entire team function efficiently, simultaneously provide guidance to team members enhancing effectiveness. You are expected to motivate the team towards order fulfillment and supply chain coordination by overseeing packing activities handled through external contractors, shipping documentation and on time material dispatch. You shall coordinate with various internal teams to expedite orders as and when required, answer customer queries / provide updates, attend to customer escalations promptly, coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure transportation is executed as planned thereby ensure fulfillment of Purchase order/customer requirements and Emerson goals / targets strictly in compliance with local / international trade regulations and Emerson compliance policies. You must set and maintain health and safety standards within the warehouse, this can involve inspecting facilities and equipment, promptly responding to reports of accidents, ensure all areas are uncluttered and free of hazards.

**Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following**:
**Quality**
- Applies procedures which are described in QA Manual.
- Makes sure, final product is fully in line with write up, prior to completion.

**Logistics**
- Manages the shipping team for on-time delivery of orders, fulfilling customer requirements and aligned with trade compliance and international trade regulations.
- Work towards achieving monthly/Yearly POR target set by the iCenter manager in terms of shipments
- Responsible for gatekeeper’ role (specially for Trade and compliance)
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators
- Coordinates with Order Administrator & LBP for complete shipping instructions, foresee and escalate issues/hurdles if any in a timely manner
- Generates Shipping Document Pack through system
- Work with Customs authority for documentations of shipments
- Assign resources for Warehouse & Freight Forwarders for timely collection of shipments
- Provide Reports periodically to Management
- Ensure adherence to local & international Emerson Trade compliance procedures in conjunction with all transactions and business practices
- Train external packers on SYSS packing methods and safety practices
- Support orders for all facilities along with customers (Dammam, Jubail, DTV, customer sites).
- Resolve system issues related to shipping function as needed
- Handle customer grievance/escalation, work towards resolution / process corrections, as required.
- Leading team to collect data of shipments from global and local suppliers and deciding the effective mode of transportation as per policies and compliance.
- Managing Tracking imports and notifying Customs Clearance Agent of shipments arrival to avoid delay in clearance and storage charges.
- Leading team to follow the process of following up with customs brokers and provide needed documents for smooth clearance.
- Managing team to assure Appling/Processing of Government initiatives SABER, CITC, and Bayans for regulated shipments.
- Achieve elevated levels of customer satisfaction.
- Leading team to follow the right process to identifying, issuing, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods and reporting faulty/damaged shipments.
- Leading team to drive inventory accuracy, integrity and managing stock count.
- Managing materials storage and movements between Emersons locations and stores.
- Assuring shipments movements (international and domestic shipping for both inbound and outbound)
- Managing different team from different regions and countries to assure the shipments documents on place (international export activates, issuing AWB/TWB, Saudi COO and Re-Export COO, CI, Chamber of Commerce)

**What do I need to be considered for this role?**
- Any Bachelor degree
- 7-10 Years experience in Logistics / Freight forwarder Industry preferably at supervisor level
