**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Site Supervision**: Supervise and monitor all fitout construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is performed according to the approved plans and specifications.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct inspections and quality checks on-site to ensure that the fitout works meet the required standards and specifications, including materials, finishes, and workmanship.
- **Coordination**: Liaise with project managers, architects, designers, and subcontractors to coordinate schedules, resources, and tasks, ensuring the timely and efficient execution of fitout works.
- **Safety Compliance**: Enforce health and safety regulations on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel and compliance with local safety standards.
- **Material Management**: Ensure that materials required for fitout works are available on-site in the correct quantity, quality, and in a timely manner, and that waste is minimized.
- **Progress Monitoring**: Track and report on the progress of the fitout project to the project manager, highlighting any delays, issues, or potential risks.
- **Problem Solving**: Identify and resolve any site-related issues, including design discrepancies, construction challenges, and material shortages.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of site activities, work completed, and any variations from the original plan. Ensure that all required documentation (including daily reports, work inspections, etc.) is up-to-date.
- **Client Interaction**: Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met and that any changes or modifications are implemented effectively.

**Requirements**:

- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a site engineer with a strong background in **fitout projects** (commercial, residential, or hospitality).
- Hands-on experience in managing and coordinating fitout works, including interior finishes, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installation, and joinery works.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods, with a focus on fitout works.
- Familiarity with building codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate between clients, project teams, and contractors.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot issues on-site and provide solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong focus on quality control and ensuring the accuracy of work performed.
- **Language Skills**: Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

**Preferred Skills**:

- **Project Management Experience**: Experience in assisting with project management functions like scheduling, reporting, and resource management.
- **Fitout-Specific Knowledge**: Knowledge of interior fitout materials, finishes, and techniques (e.g., plastering, painting, flooring, ceiling works, etc.).
