**Title**:
Principal Telecom Design Engineer

**_ Role Overview_**
- The Senior Telecom Professional will lead the design, engineering, and implementation of advanced telecommunications and integrated security systems for oil & gas, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects. This role demands expertise in _**_Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES)_**_ and _**_High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS) directives_**_, ensuring compliance across all project phases from concept to commissioning. _

**_Key Responsibilities_**

- **_ Telecom Systems Design & Integration_**
- _ Develop philosophies, specifications, block diagrams, and datasheets for telecom systems including: _- _Fiber Optic Networks (OSP/ISP)_
- _ DWDM/SDH Transmission Systems_
- _ IP Telephony, WLAN, Industrial Wi-Fi_
- _ Public Address & General Alarm (PAGA), Paging & Siren Systems_
- _ Radio Systems (TETRA, DMR)_
- _ CCTV and Video Surveillance Integration _ - **_Security Systems Compliance_**
- _ Prepare HCIS Stage 1-4 packages (Risk Assessment, Concept of Design, Preliminary & Detailed Design)._
- _ Design and integrate security systems such as: _- _Security Access Control System (SACS)_
- _ Video Assessment & Surveillance Systems (VASS)_
- _ Long-Range Detection & Assessment Systems (LRDAS)_
- _ Microwave Intrusion Detection Systems (MIDS) _ - **_Project Management_**
- _ Lead multi-discipline engineering teams for FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases._
- _ Coordinate with Aramco PMT, HCIS authorities, and vendors for compliance and approvals._
- _ Review IFC drawings, resolve technical queries (TQs), and manage design changes. _

- **_Quality & Compliance_**
- _ Ensure adherence to _**_Saudi Aramco standards_**_, HCIS directives, and international codes (BICSI, NEC, NFPA)._
- _ Conduct internal audits for HCIS compliance prior to submission._
- _ Support FAT/SAT and commissioning activities. _

**_Qualifications_**

- _ Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering._
- **_ 15+ years_**_ experience in telecom and security systems design for oil & gas projects._
- _ Proven track record in _**_Saudi Aramco projects_**_ and _**_HCIS compliance workflows_**_._
- _ Certifications preferred: _**_BICSI-RCDD_**_, _**_ASIS PSP_**_, _**_Saudi Council of Engineers registration_**_._
- _ Strong knowledge of EPC/DB, PMCM, and GES+ project execution models. _

**_Core Competencies_**

- _ Expertise in telecom network architecture and security integration._
- _ Familiarity with HCIS approval process and Aramco ISSD requirements._
- _ Ability to manage techno-commercial aspects and risk mitigation strategies._
- _ Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills._
