We are looking for an exceptional new Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to join our events practice to provide strategic and pragmatic support to our clients across the events journey.

**Our projects are wide and varied, spanning strategy, organisation, governance, project management and implementation. Recent examples include**:

- Developing the strategy and commercial opportunities for women's football across Europe
- Developing the event bidding strategy in Athletics for an Asian country; devising a market entry strategy for a global ticketing company
- Designing strategies, plans and operating models for numerous national and international federations.

**Responsibilities but not limited to**:

- Provide strategic advisory to clients of the Major Events practice across the lifecycle of major events delivery - from event strategy, selection and bidding, event foundation planning, benefits and value realisation, integrated operational planning advisory, readiness strategies and dissolution and post-event assessment / reporting
- Support the development of Thought Leadership across the Major Event delivery lifecycle
- Identify new business opportunities to grow the business overall and the event practice
- Work with Business Analyst to review the delivery of projects
- Creating senior client documents and presentations
- Coach and develop junior team members
- Lead internal firm-building activities and promote innovation in the sector
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in the Major Events or Sport Events sector, and at least 2 years in a management consultancy firm
- Previous experience working within major events Local Organizing Committees or Organizers is desirable
- Experience of Games Functional Models, Planning and Readiness concepts is desirable
- Self-directed with an entrepreneurial approach
- Strong quantitative and conceptual problem-solving ability
- Proven interest, passion or involvement in sport and the business of sports and events
