Parsons is now hiring Senior Mechanical Engineer (Infrastructure) with a desire to work on projects that change the fabric of our community.

Qualification/Experience:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 13 years demonstrated experience in all aspects of the following:

- Design of pump stations, lift stations and reservoir sizing, pump selections, pressure drop calculations, piping layout sketching, water tank design and sizing, pipe sizing calculations,
- Design of all mechanical works related to sewage and water treatment plants, familiar with treatment processes and control,
- Design of disinfection system and related equipment,
- Capable of doing surge analysis with Bentley Hammer,
- Prepare calculations, system design and layout, technical specifications and scope of work descriptions
- Develop design reports, specifications and assist in BOQ development and quantity takeoff Perform QA/QC procedures.
- Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
- Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Manager.
- Prepare draft designs to Cad team, guide the Cad Team for correctness and monitor the progress
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
