**Purpose of Position**

- Plan, design and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, harbors, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and
- The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy.

**Major Responsibilities**
- The Inspector shall inspect Projects in relation to the Quality Assurance and Quality Control; escalate non-compliance and violation of scope, codes and standards; reviews Project Quality Documents and performs other tasks in relation of Projects Quality in area of his or her specialty.
- Prepare Inspection reports at various stages and submit them on time.
- Review of applicable contractual requirements (technical standards, specifications etc.)
- Review of QHSE drawings / files / plans and the relevant procedures review and validation of inspection assignment documentation (technical aspects, reference documentation, schedules, drawings, milestones, reporting, logistics, coordination procedure, etc.)
- Execution or supervision of inspection according to predefined Project Quality plan and the established inspection procedures / techniques.
- Monitor equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper Installation, operation and calibration using inspection procedures, protocol, and checklists.
- Execution of inspection reporting including non-conformities (NCR’s) and other applicable deliverables, treatment and closing of non-conformities / corrective actions
- Respects security guidelines of BV and safeguards personal security in the working environment
- Coordination with Client Representative for handing over the new Work Inspection Requests (WIR), close the rejected WIR.
- Accurately document the results/comments of the inspections and testing.
- Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action and raise reports about all site inspections, disqualified site workmanship and materials to the Project Quality manager.
- Prepare Weekly/Monthly Quality reports with applicable KPI established for the Project.
- Assist B&I business developer in site visit and preparation of technical proposals

**Qualification and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, Engineering, or related field to his or her specialty.
- Master’s degree in civil, Engineering, or related field to his or her specialty (preferred).
- 5+ years proven experience in quality assurance & quality control or construction related areas.

**Skills & Qualities**:.
- Good report Writing skills.
- Fluent English.
- Understanding of Local (SBC) and International Codes and references such as ACI, BSI.
- Knowledge of standards and project design and construction requirements in area of his or her specialty.
- Knowledge of QA/QC standards.
- Knowledge of design and construction regulation and requirements in KSA.
- Knowledge in the preparation of technical proposals
- Adapt in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and submitting reports promptly.
