Job Purpose

The incumbent will play a pivotal role in practice management, overseeing multiple engagements, fostering relationships with senior client staff, identifying and developing business opportunities, building and mentoring teams, and providing leadership and direction for the service line. This role is critical in driving the strategic direction of the practice, ensuring business growth, and delivering high-impact Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects. The individual will guide multidisciplinary teams, influence industry standards, and enhance the firm's market presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate sales, manage major delivery activities, provide senior management input to the advisory team, assist in positioning BDO as a niche market leader and to differentiate us from our competitors
- Manage a team of BDO professionals on client engagements and within the office, providing leadership and coaching to ensure excellent client delivery whilst enabling their future development
- Generate annual sales as agreed upon, lead successful delivery of projects and contribute to the practice development
- Leading business development initiatives, creating demand, converting sales, engagement delivery and knowledge management, achieving assigned sales target
- Act as the principal advisor to C-level executives and senior government officials.
- Responsible to build deep and long-lasting client relationships to enhance the reputation of BDO as advisor of choice and generate on-going revenues
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of consultants, managers, and senior managers. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring that the team is equipped to deliver outstanding client service
- Manage multi-disciplinary teams of BDO, client and 3rd party professionals on client engagements and providing leadership and shape delivery approach
- Coach team members to ensure excellent client delivery whilst also enabling their career development
- Define and drive the strategic vision for the Infrastructure and PPP practice, aligning it with broader firm objectives. Lead the execution of large-scale, high-profile infrastructure projects across various sectors
- Manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring that financial targets are met or exceeded. Optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency to maximize profitability
- Proactively provide advice and recommendations which reflect thorough understanding of industry, issues, long-term strategy, people and client culture involved and impact the client’s business across a broad range of issues
- Use expertise, knowledge and experience, provide thought leadership to further develop and promote the core Advisory propositions
- Take a significant role in the growth of the team and wider practice, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of other team members
- Gauge client satisfaction and define the changes in products and services needed to increase client satisfaction
- Establish and leverage credibility with key decision makers at appropriate levels so that input is sought, valued and respected
- Negotiate and resolve engagement-related problems, (e.g. deliverables, timing and fees)
- Demonstrate and set high standards of behaviour, performance quality, credibility and integrity
- Manage a variety of viewpoints (e.g., manage conflicts, tension, stress) effectively to create win-win solutions where possible
- Establish direction, align people to focus efforts and build commitments toward achieving the goals of the team
- Create an environment in which the team is empowered to continuously improve client service and the advisory process

Experience
- 15+ years of experience with well-established consulting firm
- Be able to demonstrate an excellent track record in managing large assignments with a focus on delivering measurable impact to clients
- Have extensive experience planning, designing and shaping projects, managing progress, resolving issues and limiting risks
- Demonstrate experience of successfully designing and implementing value added solutions in highly complex, diverse and large organizations
- Broad personal networks across several Sectors in the region to create new business development opportunities

**Skills**:

- High levels of personal integrity and the ability to quickly build trust amongst colleagues and clients
- Have excellent communications skills
- Demonstrate a working style that is team focused, collaborative, open, commercially driven while meeting highest standards of integrity

Pay: ﷼35,000.00 - ﷼50,000.00 per month
