**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all quantity surveying functions throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closure.
- Prepare detailed estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents in accordance with project requirements.
- Lead the cost management process, performing regular cost analyses and implementing cost-saving strategies.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and budget adherence.
- Manage contractual negotiations, variations, and claims in a timely and effective manner.
- Conduct site visits for progress assessments and to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Professional certification such as MRICS or equivalent is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management techniques.
- Proficient in relevant software for quantity surveying and project management.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
