**Role Overview**

The IT Pre-Sales Manager (Solutions & Managed Services) is responsible for driving the technical pre-sales process for both IT system integration projects and managed service offerings.
The role requires strong technical knowledge, client engagement skills, and the ability to design solutions that combine on-premises IT infrastructure with managed services like cloud hosting, security monitoring, and IT support outsourcing.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Customer Engagement**:

- Collaborate with Sales Account Managers to understand customer IT and business requirements.
- Lead technical discussions and workshops with customers on both project-based and managed service solutions.
- Build strong trust by acting as a **technical advisor and service consultant**.
- **Solution Architecture and Design**:

- Design complete IT solutions covering:

- Infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, cybersecurity, virtualization, cloud).
- Managed services (24/7 monitoring, NOC/SOC services, cloud management, backup as a service, disaster recovery services, IT outsourcing).
- Create detailed proposals, solution architectures, scopes of work (SOW), and pricing models.
- **Managed Services Offer Development**:

- Shape and package managed services offers based on customer needs and company capabilities.
- Develop service level agreements (SLAs), managed service scopes, and managed services cost structures.
- **Proposal and Bid Support**:

- Prepare technical and service delivery sections for proposals, RFPs, and tenders.
- Align solutions with both customer technical needs and financial models (CapEx, OpEx, subscription-based).
- **Internal Coordination**:

- Work closely with the Service Delivery, Engineering, and Managed Services Operations teams.
- Ensure smooth transition from signed contracts to service delivery.
- **Technology and Service Innovation**:

- Stay updated on IT trends (cybersecurity, cloud, AI ops) and new managed service models.
- Recommend innovations that differentiate the company’s services from competitors.
- **Vendor and Partner Management**:

- Collaborate with technology partners (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, VMware) for joint solution offerings.
- Leverage vendors’ managed service programs and certifications.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
- 8+ years of Pre-Sales experience in IT System Integration and/or Managed Services.
- In-depth knowledge in:

- IT Infrastructure: servers, storage, virtualization, networking.
- Cloud Services: AWS, Azure, Private Cloud, Hybrid Cloud.
- Cybersecurity: firewalling, endpoint protection, monitoring.
- Managed Services: NOC/SOC, IT support services, IT outsourcing.
- Strong understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and managed services financial models.
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and client engagement skills.
- Certifications are highly desirable (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, ITIL v4, CCIE, Fortinet NSE).
