**Project Overview**:
A Bechtel-led consortium to design and build two rail lines of the Riyadh Metro network in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The lines, along with four others, will form the backbone of Riyadh’s new public transportation network.

The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system.

Riyadh’s population of nearly 6 million is forecast to increase to 8 million by 2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

**Job Summary**:
Bechtel is seeking a Testing & Commissioning Engineer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead Subcontractor to complete site works including but not limited to Construction and T&C/integration
- Lead Subcontractor to submit Task Notification Forms to conduct official site testing
- Manage Subcontractor on site to perform the works in accordance with the approved schedule
- Coordinate with a station MEP lead to troubleshoot third party equipment preventing integration testing from happening
- Lead Subcontractor to complete all required official tests in accordance with the Test Records Assignment Matrix
- Report to the Project Manager for Systems Integration and keep him in the loop about Subcontractor performance
- Lead official testing activities with the Client Representative

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Fire Alarm systems is a must
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Fire Protection Engineering, or related degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to incorporate requirements into project implementing documents and in maintaining these documents current with source requirements.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in person as well in writing.

- Edwards Certified
- Familiar with Edwards Fire Alarm system or equivalent
- Rail experience
