- Responsible for the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Traffic Management Plan (TMP) for the BRT project.
- Analyzing existing traffic patterns and potential impacts of BRT construction and operation.
- Developing strategies and plans to mitigate traffic disruptions during various project phases.
- Incorporating considerations for pedestrian and vehicular movement, public transport, and emergency services.
- Coordination with Traffic and Roads Engineer: Work in close coordination with the Traffic and Roads Engineer to ensure the Traffic Management Plan aligns with overall road infrastructure plans and traffic regulations
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including local authorities, utility providers, traffic police, and community representatives, regarding any new development or changes impacting existing traffic patterns due to the BRT project. This includes:

- Communicating planned activities and potential traffic impacts.
- Gathering feedback and addressing concerns.
- Obtaining necessary approvals and permits related to traffic management.
- Work closely on-site with the site team and contractors to introduce and proactively implement the necessary changes to the Traffic Management Plans during the time of construction. This includes:

- Ensuring that contractors adhere to the approved Traffic Management Plan.
- Supervising the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices, signage, and diversions.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented traffic management measures.
- Identifying and addressing any unforeseen traffic-related issues that arise during construction.
- Proactively assess the need for adjustments to the Traffic Management Plan based on construction progress, evolving site conditions, and feedback from stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of Traffic Management Plans, coordination efforts, approvals, and any incidents or issues related to traffic management. Contribute to progress reports with updates on traffic management activities
- Participate in identifying and mitigating risks associated with traffic management during the project lifecycle
- Ensure all traffic management activities comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and the project's Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards.
