We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Collection Specialist responsible for managing all AR collections for Saudi Arabian customers. **Responsibilities**: The individual would be responsible for managing the day-to-day credit management and collection activities and accounting operations within the area of responsibility. - Follow up with customers to obtain the SES and ensure that, once received, invoices are submitted to the portal, courier service, or via electronic mail. - Make sure that Portal invoices are approved for payment, if no approval follow up with customer for the reason of not approving the invoices and action accordingly - Take ownership of the customer portal to monitor the status of invoices. - Send statements of accounts and reminders to customers. - Address any invoice queries from customers by coordinating with the internal sales, order handling, and technical teams. - Visit customer offices if necessary to attend meetings and follow up on payments. - Issue warning letters to customers for unpaid invoices. - Place customers on credit hold according to credit policy guidelines if payments are not made on time. - Support the Internal and External Auditors when required on AR information - Ensure compliance with both corporate and local credit policies, as well as other requirements such as trade compliance. - Ensure that company cash flow is maintained, and the overdue ratio is achieved in accordance with KPIs. - Verify that the invoices and supporting documents sent to customers by the Order Handling team are accurate. If any documents are missing, take prompt action to address the issue. Key Tasks: - Ensure that the local credit policy is followed and contribute to improvements. - Conduct credit investigation and perform the collection activities. - Producing accounting reports and present results.
