Under the supervision of the Plant Manager the Shop Floor Manager will perform the following:
**RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY**:

- Assist the Plant Manager in carrying out process analysis and identify opportunities to optimize operations and reduce cost.
- Maintain and communicate the weekly schedule with various departments
- Assist the plant manager in day to day operation schedules, material ordering, and workforce management.
- Check to ensure the operations employees have in process the correct items in accordance with the operations schedule.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure activities are carried out as per the approved schedule.
- Assist in various project improvement initiatives and feasibility studies that aim in improving quality, reducing downtime and increasing capacity.
- Carry out Frequent checks to ensure that safety, quality and SOP / HSE best practices are being followed.
- Actively Participate in Sales/operation coordination meetings.
- Supervise activities and personnel as needed
- Perform other work-related tasks as needed
- University Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Business or equivalent combination of degree and experience.
- Proven work experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education
- Certificates in process improvement methodologies is a plus (e.g. lean/six sigma etc )
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus

**Qualifications (Education/No. of Years of Experience)**:

- University Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Business or equivalent combination of degree and experience.
- Proven work experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education
- Proven work experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education

- Excellent command in English Oral and Written
