Job Title: Field Engineer – Civil/Structural

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer specializing in civil and structural works to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage day-to-day civil and infrastructure works on site.

Ensure all construction activities are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.

Monitor progress, prepare site reports, and highlight any issues requiring action.

Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

Support the project team in resolving technical challenges and implementing engineering solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

Minimum of 8 years of experience in the construction field, including at least 5 years in civil and infrastructure works.

Strong knowledge of civil/structural construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.

Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and make technical decisions effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

Experience with project management tools and quality control processes.

Knowledge of local regulations and standards.
