**ABOUT THE HOSPITAL**:
This well-established Armed Forces Hospital is situated in the busy seaport of Jeddah on the western seaboard of the Red Sea. This encompasses 420 bedded hospitals plus five city-wide satellite clinics form part of a national network of healthcare facilities directly managed by the Medical Services Division (MSD) of the Ministry of Defence.

The hospital provides a wide range of primary, secondary, and tertiary medical services to members of the Saudi Arabian Armed Forces and their dependents. The Cardiac Centre, situated within the main hospital, is the only adult cardiac surgical facility in the Western Region. The hospital also is a designated training centre for junior medical and nursing staff.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- 2 years Consultant experience in a Western hospital
- 2 years post specialist qualification experience from the following countries:
UK - CCT
USA - American Board
Canada - Canadian Fellowship
Ireland - CSD/CSCST
Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship)
France - DES/DESC
Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the licensing authorities.
**BENEFITS INCLUDED**:
**Salary**: SR to be advised
Bonus: ½ Months’ salary per annum
Contract Duration: 12 Months renewable
Contract Status: Married (if required) Self, spouse & 2 children (to 18yrs)
Accomodation: Provided free of charge or allowance of SR 60,000
Ultilities: Small charge of approx SR 200 pm
Flights: For family at start & end of contract year
Leave: 7 weeks per annum, can be split (vacation + local holidays)

Ed Allowance: SR 50,000 per year total for 2 children to age 18
Study leave: Yes. 10 days per annum. Paid time.

Medical Cover: Provided or self & family
Transport: As required
Hours of Work: 48 hrs a week over 5 days
Start Date: By agreement but asap.
