CNC Machinist

Position Summary:
To support ITT Saudi growth in local spare parts manufacturing thru-out producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records and maintaining equipment & supplies.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Parts manufacturing, job setting and operating on CNC Lathe & Milling with Fanuc OiTD control.
- Uses CAD software Master CAM, AutoCad, inventor and solid works to create 3D models of components and assemblies, provide 2-D engineering drawings to documents designs.
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Preforms preventative maintenance tasks by oiling and cleaning machines and shop equipment and by following manufacturer’s recommendations to strive zero machine downtime and maintain safe working conditions.
- Perform the repair malfunctioning shop equipment and machine by referencing manuals and consulting with manufacturer’s service to diagnose problems and fixes equipment.
- Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.

Position Requirements:
**Education**:
Technical Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering /Manufacturing.

**Experience**:
At least 5 years of experience in CNC Programming/Operation.

**Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience**:
Strong knowledge of (G-cod, Conversational and CAD/CAM SOLIDWORKS and MASTERCAM, GIBBS CAD/CAM) programming, tools, job setting and operating with with Fanuc OiTD control on the following machine models:

- Samsung PL45MC Slant Bed Mill/Turn CNC Turning Centre.
- Dugard 1350E Vertical Machining Centre.

**Other Requirements**:

- Willing to work overtime hours during high work load.
- Willing to work within day/night shifts.
