**Responsibilities**
**for Generator Technician**:

- Knowledge of AC/DC power.
- Able to test current and voltage in a safe manner.
- Service, Repair and /or replace damaged parts on generators.
- Service generators with oil changes.
- Performs preventative maintenance activities per schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.
- Capable of electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting and repair performing planned of GenSets.
- Diagnoses and completes complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site.
- Uses standardized tools and electric equipment to perform mechanical assembly, testing, repair, and troubleshooting of assemblies.
- Assembles and disassembles vacuum components.
- Analyzes equipment performance and schedule maintenance and calibration as required.
- Works with management to enforce safety and security procedures.
- Perform all planned Preventative Maintenance (Electrical and Mechanical) of all generator GenSets.
- Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing.
- Perform voltage changes on generators based on customer requirements.
- Re-wire, adjust and install control panels and voltage regulators.
- Adjust speed controls and various settings.
- Change filters and perform standard service on units.
- Assist in preparing generators for shipment as needed.
- Assist with other duties as required.

**Qualifications for Generator Technician**:

- Must be able to work well under pressure or within deadlines.
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years’ experience in Maintenance and electrical skills.
- Expertise in maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a wide variety of industrial generators with capacity of 20KV -3000KVA.
- Able to work independently with strong self-management and professionalism.
- Able to complete work within assigned deadlines.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Driving License required.
- Expat with Transferable Iqama.
