Our client is a diversified service company in Saudi Arabia that provides a wide range of services across several industries, including construction, facility management, and food and beverage within the** customer services industry in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.** **Job Context**:A CFO will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and running all the finance activities of a company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and negotiations. **Key Accountabilities**: - Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting team. - Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting. - Advise on long-term business and financial planning. - Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders. - Review all formal finance, HR, and IT-related procedures. - Analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing strategic directions. - Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile. - Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry. - Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. - Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies. - Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors. - Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations. - Participate in conference calls with the investment community. - Maintain the financial health of the organization. - Manage the capital request and budgeting processes. - Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction. **Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**: **We Are Looking For: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. - 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership roles. - Required Certificates: "CPA or CFA". - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential. - Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. - Proficiency with accounting software, databases, and spreadsheets. - Solid experience in coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll. - Strong understanding of SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
