The Accommodation Lead will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, allocation, management, and maintenance of employee accommodation to ensure a high standard of service and an exceptional employee experience across the program. By implementing a centralized approach, the Accommodation Lead will contribute to increased efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and improved employee retention.

This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. The Accommodation Lead will ensure that temporary accommodation, resourcing accommodation, and allocation of accommodation meet the established standards while efficiently managing maintenance processes.
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for the procurement, allocation, management, and maintenance of employee accommodation, in line with established standards. Ensure the strategy aligns with the program objectives and promotes a high-quality experience for employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedure related to employee accommodations.
- Work closely with the HR team to ensure that accommodation requirements are aligned with the project's recruitment and retention strategies
- Collaborate with the HR department to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for employees in relation to accommodation.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify accommodation needs, including temporary accommodation and resourcing accommodation, and ensure timely allocation based on requirements.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external accommodation providers to ensure availability, quality, and cost-effectiveness of accommodation options.
- Oversee the procurement process for temporary accommodation and resourcing accommodation.
- Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with accommodation providers, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and budgetary constraints.
- Conduct regular inspections of accommodation facilities to ensure compliance with established standards and address any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to accommodation procurement, allocation, and maintenance.
- Provide regular reports on accommodation-related activities, including key metrics, challenges, and recommendations for improvement, to the management team.
- Continuously review and improve accommodation processes and procedures to enhance the employee experience and increase efficiency

4-year degree and 10+ years of related work experience, including managerial experience of discipline leads and technical support personnel. Professional registration with active professional membership is required.

Proven experience in accommodation management or a similar role, preferably in a large-scale organization.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, allocation strategies, and accommodation standards. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to accommodation management. Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to accommodation facilities.

Proven ability to lead a team of HR professionals, the ability to drive excellence in field of expertise, focusing on safety, quality and improvement of processes, mentoring, excellent written and oral communications skills, and a thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required. Must also demonstrate the ability to effectively execute and manage complex tasks. Must possess high levels of integrity, be caring, flexible and demonstrate high levels of empathy and emotional intelligence. Must have strong business acumen with the ability to manage risk and actively problem solve with the ability to influence outcomes with stakeholders. Ability to network across departments and key external stakeholders whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times. Adaptable and resilient to change.
