**Engineering Shift Supervisor**:
- Fixed-term contract- Full-time- At least 5 years of experience (Senior level)- BTEC Higher National Diploma, Diploma of Higher Education- Engineer

**Overview**:
Supervise daily workshop operations, ensure projects are progressing on schedule and meeting established quality standards.

Allocate manpower, machinery, and materials efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize costs

Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff

Set and monitor quality standards, ensuring all output meets these standards and client specifications

Lead, motivate, and mentor workshop staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment

Develop and manage the workshop’s budget, ensuring operations remain within allocated funds

Oversee the execution of individual projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Implement best practices and innovative techniques to enhance workshop efficiency and productivity.

Identify training needs and facilitate skill enhancement workshops for the team

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and upper management, ensuring clear communication and understanding of workload statuses and requirements.

Ensure all workshop machinery and tools are well-maintained and in optimal working condition

Oversee the procurement of materials and maintain inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary resources without excess

Maintain records of workshop operations, including workload statuses, inventory levels, and financial expenditures. Provide regular reports to senior management

Address and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise within the workshop, ensuring smooth operations

Assess future needs in terms of manpower, machinery, and space, and plan accordingly to cater to the workshop’s growth and evolving requirements

**Responsibilities & requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

+ 6 years working experience in area of specialization.
