1. Scope of work

The Pastry/Gelato Chef would be managing the production facility activities to ensure that the standard operating procedures are implemented at all points of time.

The Chef would participate in various business initiatives such as new product development, and product improvements projects.

The chef should adapt to work in a motivated, fast-paced, busy environment to achieve the desired business results

2. Responsibilities:

- Ensure all products are prepared, displayed, and sold according to the brand standards.
- Ensure that the maintenance of the equipment is adhered to as per the required Health and Safety standards.
- Liaise with the support functions to organize ordering and stock control, and rotation.
- Follow up on orders and stock, adjusting orders if required prior to the deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during day-to-day operations.
- Be aware of the sales pattern and produce products as per the demand.
- Take ownership of the compilation of the HACCP manual, temperature, and stock rotation following the FIFO principle.
- Ensure all deliveries are checked correctly and all discrepancies are being notified and reported.
- Follow the production standards and guidelines
- Conduct regular checks on team knowledge, understanding, and overall practices.
- Participates in product development initiatives.

3. Key Behaviours, Knowledge, Skills & Aptitude:

- 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field.
- Certified Pastry Chef or equivalent degree in Culinary Arts
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Willingness & desire to improve
- Must be a quick learner, have a positive can-do attitude
- Organized, with high attention to detail

**Salary**: ﷼3,000.00 - ﷼4,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Riyadh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Pastry/Gelato chef: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
