A leading Architectural Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Urban Designer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Urban Designer, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the design and development of urban spaces, ensuring they are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and aligned with the vision of the city.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the urban design process, from conceptualization to implementation, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of urban areas, including site assessments, environmental impact studies, and demographic studies.
- Develop comprehensive urban design strategies, master plans, and zoning guidelines that enhance the functionality, sustainability, and livability of urban spaces.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, landscape designers, and other professionals to integrate urban design principles into project plans and proposals.
- Coordinate with government agencies, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary approvals for urban design projects.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on urban design matters, including urban revitalization, transportation planning, public spaces, and sustainable development.
- Supervise and mentor junior urban designers, providing support, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
- Participate in public consultations and community engagement activities to gather input and feedback for urban design projects.
- Represent the organization at conferences, seminars, and industry events to showcase expertise and build professional networks.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in urban design, preferably with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Must be based in Saudi Arabia or the GCC
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery and expertise in urban design principles, including urban planning, public space design, and mixed-use development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and a commitment to creating environmentally friendly urban spaces.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
