Sales Dept Manager

**Description**:
Manage operations in a professional manner which maximizes financial returns without negatively impacting service and delivery standards.
Oversee budget preparation, monitoring actual to budget throughout the year.
Negotiate marketing and sales budget with suppliers
Participate in strategies to meet business objectives.
Establish, manage and implement business development plans
Manage implementation of marketing programs.
Identify business opportunities and evaluate the associated risks & financial returns.
Participate in the preparation of business proposals and presentation of proposals to prospective clients.
Manage implementation of internal training programs.
In coordination with the Human Resources department, manage the development and implementation of a program for hiring and training citizens of the countries in which our Client operates.
Provision of a monthly abbreviated reports which address key performance indicators, highlights achievements and shortcomings in the areas of new business, occupancy statistics, rental rate statistics, problem areas and proposed resolutions.
**Principal Responsibilities**
To lead, support and introduce continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all departmental KPI’s.
Develop high performing Sales teams to exceed company targets.
Deliver communication briefs to staff **on regular bases** to drive improvement initiative strategies.
Implement a proactive and targeted marketing strategy to improve customer acquisition.
Be pro - active in regards to cost cutting, production data, and overheads in order to monitor weekly performance.
Use customer profiling and demographic data to resource investment.
Ensure the swift running of all operations by effectively communicating information from the Site Manager to all employees.
Take the lead in building effective working relationships to create a productive working environment.
Identify areas of improvement to promote and encourage strong customer engagement.
**Required Experience**:
- Leading multi-site sales operations and supply chain processes at a senior management level
- Line manage a sizeable team
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Broad commercial Intelligence; excellent organizational, analytical and planning skills
- Pro-active in identifying issues and opportunities and providing sound business judgment
- Possess a strong work ethic, intellect and energy level
- Tertiary education in industrial engineering, science or commerce
- Computer skills
- Advanced problem solving skills
- Strong financial intelligence
- System knowledge
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Innovative
- Demonstrate strong leadership and develop constructive relationships amongst your colleagues.
