Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Design Manager Oil &Gas **to join our team In this role you will get to Design Development Process and procedures during the execution of multi-discipline engineering design project.

We need our Design Managers to be versatile as well as have exceptional communication, analytical and management skills.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- R esponsible for Heading, Structuring, Leading and Growing overall Engineering Operations with regards to Project Delivery, Detailed Engineering, Value Engineering, Front End Engineering Design (FEED).
- Plan and organize multiple large, complex projects including cost estimating, organizing work, coordinating the work of multiple disciplines and/or other project managers and outside consultants
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of departmental work as to engineering, design, and drafting quality.
- Project development - provide technical support for the development of projects (conceptual through final design)
- Evaluating and obtaining approval of changes to project scopes of work, budgets, and/or schedules and completing all required documentation of changes.
- Lead or facilitate meetings and ensure, as appropriate, that minutes are documented and distributed
- Plan and organize system and facility downtime, startup and commissioning with Operations, Transportation, the Control Center, and other Functional Departments
- Plays strong supportive role in team building to ensure smooth operations.
- Attends meeting with agencies/authorities and Client as part of the design process and approvals

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- BS in Engineering in related discipline from western university with 20 years of oil & gas experience with an engineering, or operating company in pipeline, station, and terminal projects.
- Detailed understanding of Engineering Management of major FEED projects.
- Demonstrated technical expertise, proven management, supervisory and business development

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Professional Engineer registration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong experience in writing and preparing specification and design reports for structural works.
- Proficient in handling the project operations entailing planning, resource utilization, quality management & manpower management.
- Complete understanding of constructability, operability and maintainability requirements.
