**Role Summary**

The Technical Manager will manage all the operational and technical functions within the plant (production, engineering, quality ,EHS, supply chain/ warehouse, and technical services) and ensures they comply with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain up-to-date operational procedures for all production and maintenance activities.
- Achieve physical and financial performance targets for production and distribution.
- Develop good working relationships with other departmental/functional heads to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and ensure smooth timeline/project movements within operational and technical departments as per agreed initiatives and action plans.
- Ensure that manufacturing is planned according to the market requirements, and regulatory priorities in line with the company’s long-term interest.
- Report the factor’s performances regularly and accurately to the GMO and through periodic reports.
- Ensure appropriate maintenance of equipment through internal resources and through vendor/external contractors.
- Ensure timely supplies are delivered within and out of KSA as per local and international standards following all specifications.
- Ensure that emergency plan procedures are communicated to all employees.
- Always seek to achieve the best possible quality standards for the product and take immediate and appropriate action when quality issues are identified.
- Participate and support government initiatives and national committees to encorge the development of local pharmaceutical industries. Such as projects with local content and government procurement Authority, (LCGPA), Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP), National Industrial Clusters Development Program (NICDP), and other local universities and research centres.
- Respond to query and leads communications with government agencies such as, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, the Saudi Export Development Authority, MODON, the General Authority for Statistics, and others.
- Ensure compliance with business, Industry, Environmental Health, and Safety and regulatory standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
- 5-7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical-related field.
- Experience in planning, managing, and coordinating projects in a pharmaceutical plant.
- A registration certificate and license to practice the profession from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- A master’s degree in business administration, pharmaceuticals, or drug development is a plus.
- Updated knowledge of national and international regulations for pharmaceutical products is must.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and team playing capability and ability to meet challenges and deadlines.
- Fluency in Arabic & English languages.
