**JOB OBJECTIVE**
- Manages the complete project lifecycle and ensuring the project activities are accomplished as per the project standards.
- Manages and coordinates internal (Control Account Managers, Work Package Managers, etc) and external (Customer, suppliers, sub-contractors, partners) dedicated teams by involving the following associated teams: Sales, finance, contract management, etc.
- Directs the project activities (including those relating to risks & opportunities) to reach completion of the project regarding its technical, industrial, financial, and customer satisfaction aspects.
This responsibility is exercised from signature of the contract through to the project completion period in terms of organization, time frame, workload, budget, etc.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Project Manager will work with the project team and contributing departments (and if necessary, external partners or main suppliers) to:

- Detail and flow down the Costs, Schedule and Performance commitments with contributing departments (Work Packages will have been agreed at the time of acceptance of the contract - Gate 3), as well as the availability of the resources necessary to execute,
- Initiate the opening of budget lines to enable the team to book to the project and be operative,
- Revalidate the risk and opportunity register(s) and present the actions to reduce the causes and the effects of them (Risk and Opportunity Management process),
- Commence configuration management,
- Put in place the management tools, and set up the project data repository,
- Formalize the composition and the appointment of the project team and of people in the contributing departments
- Validate the PMP and associated documents (WBS, OBS, schedule, budget allocations, etc.)
- Establish the status of the make/buy decisions
- Validate the Industrial scenario
- Confirm and validate the contributions of departments, partners, subcontractors and suppliers against the requirements conformity matrix, performance, cost and schedule
- Validate the estimated financial position at completion, as a reference for the contract (any variation compared to Gate 3 will have to be justified and agreed).
- Contributes to the definition of the Make/Team/Buy strategy and for the involvement of KIP, the Industrial & contractual strategy.

**Identify and allocate the source project requirements**

The Project Manager will flow down Technical and non-technical requirements, (examples of non-technical requirements are legal, regulatory, schedule, etc.) relating to the solution, either internal or external, and managed by the Work Package Managers (WPMs) in accordance with the defined methods

**Deliver and manage payments from the customer**

The Project Manager, assisted by Finance, is in charge of the cash-in for the project. The PM shall raise invoice to the customer so as to get payments in accordance with the contract payment plan (generally upon deliveries)
- monitor the status and track overdue
- organize the release of the guarantees and financial obligations where applicable.

**Enrich the company capitalisation database.**

The Project Manager must collect, analyse and synthesise the strengths and weaknesses noted during the course of the project with the participation of the project team.

**Update and maintain the project baseline.**

The project baseline includes the elements that describe the basis of the project: objectives, strategy, the organisation and the justification of the project.
