Description:

- Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account multiple factor like price, quality and delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Purchasing of Mechanical items, ranging from raw material to fabricated buy outs
- Ensure continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations
- Research and evaluate areas of opportunity and reduce costs where possible
- Deliver briefs, updates and reports for projects as and when required
- Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Sourcing of potential suppliers in line with specification/RFQ. Seek approval from customer/ client on sourced supplier, which are not in the approved vendor from client list.
- Receive quotations and ensure the quote is inline with specifications and send to the technical team for evaluation.
- Commercial evaluation of the quotations based on technical aspect and prepares bid tabulations.
- Negotiate with the short listed suppliers to the lowest best price with timely delivery in accordance with construction schedule and better payment terms.
- Assist in preparation of contract/LOI with necessary terms and condition relevant to the purchase item
- Ensure the appropriate terms and conditions are specified on the purchase order and necessary specification, RVD (Required Vendor Documentation) and ITP is attached.
- Close out the purchase orders upon receipt of goods without rejection and necessary shipping and documents are submitted.

Skills/Qualifications:

- Degree in Engineering is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical purchasing
- Minimum of 5 years in Oil & Gas Industry
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards
- Self - motivated working, driven with foresight and own experience, within client Project Management Teams
- Possesses good interpersonal skills with sound English written and oral communication skills
- Skilled in MS Office
