Responsibility
- Ensures an accurate & timely month, quarter & year-end closing providing all necessary regular & irregular analysis.
- Maintaining the Chart of Accounts; ensure adequate and proper classification among accounts groups.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the general ledger function and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial records
- Supervise the daily operations of the treasury, inventory, Fixed assets, AR and AP functions.
- Manage and comply with local and government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Ensure all month-end entries are passed in the system like pre-payment, accruals etc.
- Review and prepare monthly trial balance and prepare the required adjustments.
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports and statements.
- Summarizes financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Contracts review.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting to perform any other duties assigned by Finance Manager.
