Hse Manager

We are currently looking for a HSE Manager for our Project & Development Services business line.

**What this job involves**:
Oversight and monitoring of HSE matters on a construction site

Managing, auditing and reporting on the HSE elements assigned to the Construction Supervision Consultant and the contractor on site

Promote the HSE Plan of Work on the site

Deliver HSE training to members of the project team

Advise on requirements to meet the project’s HSE objectives

Provide information, technical advice and support to all Project staff relating to HSSE, including KSA legislation, standards and international codes of practice etc.

Participate in safety inspections and provide guidance as required to individuals nominated to complete designated tasks and corrective actions.

Conduct an ‘Incident Review’ of all significant incidents and provide a full report with recommendations to the Project team and regional HSE team.

Organise and participate HSE project review meetings.

Disseminate HSE Project performance information to the project team and regional HSE lead.

Conduct site HSE audits.

Assist project teams to review HSE considerations in the selection of service providers, LDC’s and Main Contractors through technical evaluations.

Monitor to ensure the project has a documented emergency procedure which is communicated to all personnel and tested at appropriate intervals.

Manage project consultants with the discharge of their respective HSE obligations - monitor and report on their performance.

Review and input into all associate HSE related activities as and when required

**Desired skills and experience**:
Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (NVQ Level 6/British Safety Council Diploma)

NEBOSH General Certification, Construction Certification or equivalent

HSE Professional Membership essential (Grad-IOSH, IIRSM, CSP or equivalent)

10 years of experience (with at least 5 years delivering at the level of HSSE Manager)

Construction experience is a must (min 5 years Middle East)

Be proactive and able to work on your own initiative

Have excellent influencing and persuasive skills
