Cybersecurity Senior System Analyst

Cyber security Senior system analyst role tasks typically include the support on information security processes, monitoring of network anomalies and implementing cybersecurity safeguards to protect computer systems, networks, and data. Information security analysts are expected to stay up-to-date on the latest intelligence, including hackers' methodologies, to anticipate security breaches.

**Accountabilities**
- In compliance with NIST Cyber Security Framework and local regulatory bodies, Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond and Recover NMC information assets., while implementing NMC Cybersecurity strategic roadmap.
- Work collaboratively with all functions of IT to Implement and Monitor cybersecurity controls to improve overall Cybersecurity posture of NMC.
- Work closely with Cybersecurity Managed Service partner to ensure smooth operations of SOC and SOAR and report regularly.
- Create Cybersecurity awareness culture across NMC using interactive online content and assessment.
- Through dedicated and open-source threat intelligence sources, take proactive measures to defend NMC against any cyber-attacks.
- In line with BCM coordinating with Managed Service develop detailed Incident response plans, to manage any cyber-incidents
- In line with NMC Data privacy policy and Data loss prevention roadmap, implement the identified [HS1] initiatives/projects.
- Liaise with the enterprise architecture team to build alignment between the security and enterprise (reference) architectures, thus ensuring that information security requirements are implicit in these architectures and security is built in by design
- Support/Coach and mentor junior resources.
- Analyze the enterprise information security environment and recommend security measures to safeguard valuable information assets.
- Help identify, evaluate, and report on information security risks.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to recommendations to optimize performance of security controls.
- Collaborate with network and technology support team to enhance and improve security processes and documentation.
- Regularly evaluate and assess information security vulnerabilities, solutions, and organizational posture.
- Stays current with security technologies and threats in order to contextualize the events observed in the environment.
- Assist in providing initial assessment of impact severity for IT security incidents and executing the appropriate response.
- Perform daily operational tasks required for the department to protect Network Health’s assets. Tasks range from (but are not limited to):

- Analyze security alerts
- Maintain endpoint protection infrastructure
- Facilitate risk evaluation related to vulnerability assessment findings and coordinate risk treatment
- Respond to reported information security critical incidents 24x7.
- Participate in risk assessments, security awareness training programs, ongoing security-based projects, and security policy/procedure development.
- Design and implement new safeguards to protect computer systems, work with other IT teams to implement the new safeguards, whether it is in the form of software, hardware, or new operating procedures.
- Conduct research, and attend conferences, professional association meetings and technical symposia to gain awareness of the latest information security technological developments.
- Develop project timelines and identify project tasks and procedures.

Employee’s duties are not limited only to the above-mentioned Accountabilities; he/she may perform other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirement**

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business Management or Marketing

**Experience**
- 5 Years of Experience
- 3 in a Managerial Level

**Computer Skills**
- MS Office Suite
- Awareness of MS Project
- Experience in google analytics
- Awareness of Digital Communication

**Languages**
- English, Arabic
