Minimum 7 year’s relevant experience with clear understanding of all key aspects of oil and gas construction Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Review contract documentation to assess feasibility of plans, analyze availability of resources and identify potential areas of concern.
- Review the project planning package to establish the sequence and duration of activities to optimize project execution.
- Support all site construction activities ensuring that necessary resources are available on site when needed, and that work is carried out in compliance with safety standards, according to contract terms, specifications and to ISO standards.
- Initiate and follow up on issuance of work permits according to project procedures.
- Review engineering drawings, documents and deliverables that pertain to functional area of responsibility to verify conformance with contract requirements.
- Participate in constructability reviews during the engineering stage and provide constructability inputs
- Review project specific and other procedures to ensure comprehensive cover of all project activities that may not be addressed in the contract.
- Participate in the compilation of sub-contractor’s scope of work and undertake Technical bid evaluations, making recommendations where appropriate.
- Monitor subcontractor’s execution of works and performance.
- Closely interact with Engineering, expediting, project controls and the sub-contractors to ensure complete visibility of the available and forecasted work-front
- Participate in the preparation of the client list of deliverables and progress plan; monitor performance against milestones, resolving contractual and other problems with the Project Manager and client.
