Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Project Controls Director**to join our team In this role you will develop, manage, and execute all phases of the project controls effort and provide leadership to the department.

**“What You’ll Be Doing”**
- Provides direction and management to a team of planning and project controls professionals to fulfill the scope of services efficiently.
- Manages relationship with the client, from a technical/delivery standpoint, and ensures alignment with the client’s strategic objectives.
- Leads, under the client’s directions, the engagement with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to facilitate the execution of Parsons’ services.
- Must be able to manage executive reporting for major programs at a portfolio/enterprise level.
- Prior experience must include Portfolio Management, Stakeholder Management, Project Controls, and Executive Reporting - preferably at a PMO level.
- Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all project controls functions for the assigned program/portfolio, including
- Leading the project controls team to perform their responsibilities in accordance with the scope of services.
- Leading the team for the development of the enterprise master schedule and program-specific master schedules, to establish robust schedule management procedures required for managing all types of schedules across the portfolio
- Assigning responsibility for executing tasks to team members after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including client’s senior management and external parties. Facilitates effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders and manages expectations, by ensuring satisfaction and addressing concerns promptly.
- Demonstrates leadership skills of notable strength, allowing to motivate and inspire all relevant stakeholders to deliver their best work in alignment with the client’s strategy and objectives.
- Promotes technical excellence on the program, including identification of opportunities for process improvements and implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development goals and opportunities for the assigned employees.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate.

**“What Desired Skills You’ll Bring”**
- BS/BA degree in Engineering or related field
- 25 or more years of related work experience, including supervisory and management experience in project management and/or controls, is required.
- A professional registration is required.
- Prior experience must include Program Management, Stakeholder Management, Project Controls, and Executive Reporting at a portfolio or enterprise level.
- PMO leadership experience is preferred.
