**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

The role is responsible is to develop the individual into an AIT intelligence Analyst that can support Security and AIT Enforcement activities. AIT Enforcement - Responsible for reporting all AIT intelligence and, under the guidance of the AIT & Security Analyst, provide timely and actionable intelligence products to disrupt illicit trade, thus providing opportunities for BAT to expand its market.

Security - Responsible for monitoring the access control system, CCTV, and alarm systems under the guidance of the Security Executive, provide timely intelligence products.

**Geographic Scope**:Middle East Area

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Report all intelligence relating to illicit trade.
- Ensure that intelligence impacting on the business is disseminated, in a timely manner, to colleagues within BAT.
- Assist as required, with the cataloguing, handling and sending of suspect samples.
- Liaise with AIT colleagues (CORA, Trade) across BAT to encourage intelligence sharing.
- Collect timely intelligence Info to assist BAT's efforts in tackling illicit trade.
- Liaise with the TMRs to be familiarized with the Illicit Trade in the market and the competitors’ violations.
- Liaise with the ministry of health for updates on new laws regarding Trade & to have good networking in the MOH to follow up on competitors’ violations.
- Assist with the raids of AIT executed by the Customs Enforcement Directorate.
- Monitoring news services
- Manages the Access Control and CCTV Systems including issuance of cards (badges), assigning/modification of access, CCTV operations and maintenance for Lebanon office.
- Responsible for the Key Safe and its inventory for all keys to doors, desk drawers, and all other keys to the Office.
- Assist in Security Escorting of VIP visits to office.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- BAT product knowledge to be able to identify counterfeit product in the field.
- Some knowledge of intelligence collection, collation, interpretation, evaluation, assessment.
- Familiarity with the organization and operating procedures of police, customs, and national intelligence agencies.
- Knowledge of BAT business and the impact of illicit trade.
- Can handle, store and record intelligence in an organized manner, taking into
- Account any sensitivities relating to the information or its source
- Be innovative and creative so as to achieve results
- Good communication skills, both orally and written
- Capable of assisting with investigations involving illicit trade.
- Although no formal analytical experience is required there needs to be an
- Ability to analyse quantities of information and draw meaningful conclusions and inferences
- Experience of producing reports.
- Assistance with AIT Enforcement operations
- Production of AIT Intelligence Reports
- Production of monthly AIT reports
