Computational Genomics Analyst

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Runs wide variety of computational tasks and bioinformatics scientific experiments and provides technical assistance and support to the scientists and laboratory members.

2. Participates in operation and maintenance of the bioinformatics computing infrastructure and labcomputing infrastructure, and keeps records of spare parts, licenses, and supply ordering.

4. Participates in developing software tools, scripts, and database to help in processing and interpretation of data, management of genomic samples, tracking of samples, Lab Information Management Systems, collection, transfer, and archival of data and information.

5. Assists in the preparation and writing of technical reports, performance and quality control reports and operational logs/incidents, presentations, and manuscripts.

6. Searches literature, utilizing all available resources, regarding new methodology and designs experiments accordingly.

7. Follows all safety rules and regulations, and assists in developing and implementing quality control procedures.

8. Develops and maintains copies of technical documentations (manuals, configuration, licenses, design documents, operational documents, etc.).

9. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.

**Education**:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related discipline is required

**Experience Required**:
Grade 09:Two (2) years of related experience with Master’s, or four (4) years with Bachelor Degree is required.

Grade 10:Five (5) years of related experience with Masters, or seven (7) years with Bachelor Degree is required.
